Town Hall Gardens
In June 2008, Chatham World Heritage supported the creation and burial of a time capsule in Town Hall Gardens by the My Space Regenerated project, facilitated by Medway-based artist, Fiona Watt. As part of the project, participants explored what the park and Chatham's heritage more generally meant to them. Local residents joined the group on the day to celebrate their achievments and consider what they hoped the regeneration of the area might mean to future generations. The key to the time capsule is held by Medway Archives with instructions that it should not be opened for at least 30 years.
Photographer Sara Norling has kindly shared these images from the day.
