Who's Involved

Chatham's World Heritage application is funded by Medway Council, English Heritage, the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust and the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA). Communities and Local Government (CLG) have also made important contributions to project work.

Joanne Cable is the full time project manager.

The work programme is supported by a panel of stakeholders, including landowners and funders. This steering group meets on a 4-6 week cycle, and is chaired by Bill Ferris (Chief Executive of Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust).

The Chatham World Heritage Partnership is the broader forum for anyone with any nature of interest in Chatham's World Heritage. It meets two-three times yearly, and is chaired by Lindsey Morgan (local resident, and tourism, education and world heritage professional).  An e-mail network also exists to update Partners in between meeting times.
