Chatham World Heritage Partnership
If you live or work in the site, or simply enjoy visiting Chatham’s heritage, the World Heritage Partnership is a chance for you to find out more, and have your say. The Partnership helps everyone to contribute to Chatham’s future.
Meetings are held two-three times yearly, at various historic locations. The first was in Commissioner’s House, Chatham Historic Dockyard in June 2007. Following meetings have been held at the University of Greenwich, the Royal School of Military Engineering, the Royal Engineers Museum, Fort Amherst, No. 3 Slip (the Historic Dockyard), MidKent College, the St George’s Centre and the Royal Dockyard Church.
You can also sign up to receive e-mail updates. This allows us to seek your opinion on important matters, as well as provide updates outside of meeting times.
There are over 900 Chatham World Heritage Partners, based as far afield as Massachussets and the Netherlands. Average attendance at meetings is around 130.
